Just like you, I am keeping an eye on Apple Reminders because it is really improving every iOS major update. The calendar integration is somewhat compelling. However, my brain is already familiar with Things together with the keyboard shortcuts. Not to mention setting Do Dates and Due dates is essential for my workflow.
