Why I left Evernote for Apple Notes

Evernote, the note-taking app of choice for over a decade, hasn’t been my sole preference. I’ve experimented with various note-taking apps alongside Evernote.

I have explored various note-taking platforms such as Obsidian, Notion, Bear, OneNote, Google Keep, and so much more. I always returned to Evernote every single time.
When Bending Spoons acquired Evernote in 2023, it has really been a great experience. I was glad that somehow, the giant elephant of note-taking apps has finally found its place. Bending Spoons knows what it is doing. It consistently updates the app and rebuilt it from the ground up.
However, with the price increase of Evernote, I felt like I am starting to get less and less of the features while paying more. It is time again to look for a shiny new toy once again. Here are some reasons why I left Evernote:
